Ben is a retired Certified Public Accountant and retired Certified Financial Planner who practiced both professions in Florida for many years before moving west. He left a national CPA firm in 1974 to open his own accounting and consulting practice. He has been a self-employed business owner ever since. Subsequently, he has owned and managed a citrus grove, a group of 5 limousine companies, a video vending route, a direct mail services company, wireless cable TV, real estate development and residential construction, and residential and commercial rental properties.

Since 1994 he has also been an active business broker in Colorado and surrounding states. He is also currently a licensed life insurance agent in 13 states. Legacy preservation and legal tax minimization have been his passions, which led him to the concept of Infinite Banking-  the use of maximum funded life insurance contracts to provide tax-free compound growth, protection from creditors and a means to pass on assets generationally.
